Meeting Theme
The theme for this year's meeting will be "Through it all". Over the past few years, there have been challenges keeping us on our toes, to say the least. But no matter how rough the road gets, God is with us through it all. See what the Bible says in Psalms 34:19:
Psalm 34:19 NKJV - "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all."

Event Location
The meeting will be held at Christian Heritage Academy, 4400 SE 27th St, Del City, OK 73115. If you would like to pull up directions to your mobile device, click on one of the two buttons below:

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the best place to park?
Christian Heritage Academy has parking located at the front, back, and sides of the building. The front parking is the most accessible lot, so we are asking those who are younger or more able to park in the lots that may require a longer walk.
How early should I get to the building before services begin?
We recommend getting to services around 25-30 minutes early if you would like to have more seating choices. Seating will be first come first serve, so there will be fewer seating options available the closer it gets to services starting.
Will there be activities after services?
Yes, there will be activities separate and apart from the worship services for groups to safely socialize. Here is what you can expect:
Dec 28 - Games & Fellowship
Dec 29 - Bowling and Pizza
Dec 30 - Ice Skating
More details for these activities will be provided at services.
Will there be food and beverages provided after services?
This year, we will only be providing food after our evening service on Dec. 31. We have made arrangements to provide pizza, veggies, cuties, cookies, water, and coffee. If not providing snacks each night creates a hardship for you, please plan to contact one of our elders or deacons (leadership@normanchurchofchrist.com)
What are your health and virus precautions?
Be cautious (Ephesians 5:15)
Create social distance when possible
Clean and disinfect
Cover coughs and sneezes
Be aware (Matthew 24:42)
Actively monitor personal conditions
Acknowledge close contacts (> 15 minutes over a 24-hour period) in group activities
Know and honor medical guidelines for quarantine and isolation
Be a good judge (Psalms 119:66)
Wear a mask if appropriate for you
Stay home if you are experiencing symptoms
Temperature or fever
Shortness of breath
Loss of smell or taste
Fatigue
Headache
Runny nose
Sneezing
Sore throat
Notify close contacts if test positive
Is there an "event hotel" with a group rate?
Yes, the Wyndham Garden hotel in Oklahoma City has graciously allowed us to work with them this year to reserve a block of rooms. Unfortunately, all of the rooms at the hotel have now been booked. For alternative options, please see our "hotels & lodging near meeting venue" section above.
Who is the best person to contact if I have any questions?
The Church of Christ that meets in Norman has elders, deacons, and an evangelist who coordinate and lead our local work. If you have any questions about the upcoming Oklahoma New Year's Meeting, contact leadership@normanchurchofchrist.com.
